Seth
Rosenman, AIA
Seth
Rosenman leads the practice of Rosenman Associates Architects, the
successor firm to Root Rosenman Architects. He has over 30 years of experience
in design and leadership roles, and numerous projects in Colorado, as well as
on each coast. His career has spanned all aspects of private practice,
across a wide spectrum of building and project types, including commercial,
public, institutional and residential commissions.
Seth
earned both a bachelor’s degree in environmental design and a master’s degree
in architecture from the University of Colorado. He is the recipient of
several design awards, and his work has been published in the journals Architecture,
Architectural Record and Interiors, among several other
periodicals. He is a recipient of an AIA Fisher Traveling Scholarship for “The
Study of Contemporary Design Influences on Historic Campuses in the UK”,
undertaken in 2007.
His
many civic and professional engagements include serving on the Board of
Directors of the Denver Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and
mayoral appointments to the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission and
Denver’s Development Review Task Force. Seth served on the Board of
Trustees of Historic Denver, Inc., and he has been a frequent guest critic and
lecturer for the University of Colorado College of Architecture and
Planning. He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of
Canine Partners of the Rockies. One of his drawings is in the permanent
collection of the Department of Design and Architecture of the Denver Art
Museum.
