Headquarters

Denver, Colorado
[Project]
Back to List

The Daniels Charitable Fund planned to build a 25,000 SF headquarters building facility in the Cherry Creek area of Denver. The building was arranged around a courtyard open to the street, and was to be built over an underground parking garage.

The scale of the building was crafted to respect both the commercial character of First Avenue and the residences on the side street. Exterior materials were to be limestone and glass curtain wall. The spaces in the building included open and closed offices, conference rooms and support spaces. The design included a two-story lobby for the display of memorabilia of the foundation's benefactor, the late cable television pioneer, Bill Daniels. The U-shaped configuration of the floor plans enabled all offices to have windows, while maintaining planning flexibility.
